Verizon Communications announced Monday it has renewed and expanded its office lease at the Eisenhower Corporate Campus in Livingston.
The 385,000-square-foot Class A office complex, located at 290 W. Mount Pleasant Ave., is owned and managed by Eastman Cos. along with joint venture partner Long Wharf Real Estate Partners.
Verizon said it has expanded its current occupancy of more than 154,000 square feet by an additional 44,000 square feet, totaling approximately 200,000 square feet.
“Our strategic reinvestment in ECC has played a key role in a number of new leases and renewals we have secured in recent years,” Schofel said in a prepared statement. “Having an internationally recognized tenant like Verizon renew and expand its commitment by 40 percent is a testament to the premier business environment that we have created here. We look forward to being part of Verizon’s growth and ongoing success for years to come.”
The brokerage team of Jeff Garibaldi, Michael Witko and Scott Garibaldi of The Garibaldi Group and Eric J. Maurer, Eastman’s director of leasing, represented Eastman in the transaction. Jonathan Meisel and Fred Hyatt of JLL represented the tenant.
