We were around for Ruth’s first World Series in 1923, we saw Joe D’s 56 game hit streak, Mantle become the idol of every young boy in America, Reggie Jackson hitting three home runs in the same game during the 1977 World Series…but there is just something special when someone so rooted in loyalty and tradition comes around and is able to remind us what is important in sport, life and business. As a company celebrating 95 years of tradition, we simply have to tip our caps to one of the greats.
